VOLS "IN THE RIGHT PLACE AT THE RIGHT TIME" GET 7 TURNOVERS IN WIN OVER WESTERN KENTUCKY
Knoxville, Tennessee (HOUSEOFNEYLAND) With UT trailing 0-3 vs. Western Kentucky in the 2nd game of the 2013 season, the VOLS DEFENSE "forced 5 turnovers on 6 possessions" resulting in 24 points on the way to a 52-20 victory here at Neyland Stadium.

The 1st turnover came on Justin Coleman's PICK SIX and was followed by another by Freshman corner Cameron Sutton.
Brandon Doughty added a 3rd INT followed by 2 fumble recoveries.
Early in the 2nd quarter the VOLS led 31-3 in a game in which UT was favored by a couple of touchdowns.

The Hilltoppers were coming off a 35-26 victory over Kentucky and many expected this to be a close game and a few predicted an upset.
Western Kentucky, however, did produce 1 more First Down than the VOLS, 21-20 and 11 more Total Yards 393-382, but giving up 7 turnovers proved their undoing.
The VOLS leave the friendly confines of Neyland next week to face the high flying, top ranked OREGON DUCKS.
Oregon, which routed Virginia in Charlottesville yesterday 59-10, will most likely hold its #2 ranking behind Alabama going into next Saturday's game.
Many a highly ranked Tennessee team has traveled to the West Coast and not come home with a victory.
Next week, the VOLS will be over matched and a heavy underdog, but what we VOL fans expect is that this TEAM #171 coached by BUTCH JONES and STAFF will give 100% and when the final whistle blows, the DUCKS will know they have been in a good fight.
